The Stables was a beautiful property set in stunning surroundings and was easy to access .
The stables was well clean and equipped and decorated to a high standard. The finish touches to the property made such a difference. The outside area was a good place to sit and had a BBQ there,
Lots of information left and a small hamper which was very nice.
Katherine was very responsive during our stay.
Wonderful and quiet place to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Stables. The accommodation is of very high quality and in a great location. This is the best we have stayed in I think. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Absolutely lovely stay in a beautiful space – really calm and relaxing. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was well-appointed and comfortable – the pillows were so good we bought a set! Great location for getting around, Bath is just 20 minutes away and Frome just a 5-minute drive. Great walks – well worth walking across the fields to Beckington and the cafe Mes Amis to have fabulous salad and some of the best cake I’ve eaten in years (and I’ve eaten a lot!).

Stayed with kids
The Stables is a beautiful and original accommodation, lovingly furnished. Our kids loved the gallery and spent every free minute there.
We felt very comfortable, the furnishings are very good, everything is available.
The Stables is the most beautiful place we have booked so far.

Lovely rural setting but only 10 minutes’ drive to town which had lots of places to eat and shop. Excellent beds, nice open floor plan . We were two couples and thought the place was spacious enough . Quiet private courtyard.

Our week at The Stables was a perfect ending to our trip to Europe. The accommodation is immaculate and comfortable for two couples – well equipped kitchen, lovely bed linen, and cosy private outdoor area for when the sun shines. Welcoming touches from our host of flowers and snacks etc much appreciated as were suggestions of where to go, what to do, nearby walks. And the surrounding Somerset countryside is beautiful, with lots of nearby pubs and interesting places to visit.

Wow, my friend and I had an amazing time at The Stables, we didn’t want to leave! Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean, just perfect. The area is just as stunning as the accommodation, we will definitely be back.

Stunning accommodation in a beautiful area. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The highlights were seeing deer, pheasants and a hare on the driveway, the exquisite decor, the cosy (very easy to use) log burner, super comfy beds and luxury soaps and bedding.
There are beautiful walks, canals, villages (Mells, Freshford), pubs and independent shops all close by. We did a beautiful canal walk from BoA to Freshford (about 6.5 miles) had lunch in the excellent Freshford Inn and got the train back- would thoroughly recommend. We also did Stourhead (amazing library) and, of course, Frome (great shops and cafes).

We had an amazing Christmas stay at the Stables. It was truly a 5-star experience. The drive up the avenue of trees and the pretty Christmas lights on the farmhouse made it feel so inviting. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute drive from Frome and 25 minutes from Bath.
The Stables itself was warm and inviting, with classical music playing softly and a beautiful Christmas tree to welcome us. The entire place was beautifully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with crisp white bed linen. We never had to worry about being cold, as the heating kept us nice and warm.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the bathrooms even had luxurious shampoos, conditioner, and body wash. It was such a nice touch.
Thank you again for everything. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stables.
